Did you know that if you took a normal lighter to your Cuban cigar, you just damaged 90% of your Cuban cigar taste. You must use wooden matches or butane free lighters. See that is just lighting the Cuban cigar, yet there is so much more to this great pastime.
You see, some people might say that the best way of smoking or holding a Cuban cigar is any way you like, but than you are going to miss out on the flavor and more importantly on the whole experience of smoking a fine hand rolled Cuban cigar. Their is an art and that art is something that not many Cuban cigar rollers are aware of. Yes even the professionals are misguided when it comes to holding the Cuban cigar.
The proper way to hold a cigar is either between your index finger and middle finger on top and with your thumb at the bottom or if you are the true alpha male like real Cuban cigar smokers, than you wrap that index finger around that Cuban cigar and just enjoy the entire smoke. This is how professionals do it and this is how it should be done as far as I’m concerned.
You see their is so much to Cuban cigars in general that it will boggle your mind. No wonder that their are thousands upon thousand of books written on this ever so sacred tradition. So now that you know how to smoke and hold a Cuban cigar, I suggest you get one and get the best kind, you won’t regret it.
