If you are Cuban cigar smoker, or smoker in general, most likely you are aware of what an ashtray is. An ashtray as it may sound is something you place the ashes in “real time” as it’s produced through the end of your respective smoke. Ashes are basically the burned leftovers that can’t be smoked anymore. These ashes come in many shades of Grey and white or a mixture of these two colors.
Ashes symbolize that you’ve just smoked the tobacco and this is what’s left of it. Ashes are not meant to be consumed and contain dangerous chemicals that can be very harmful to your body. So does every smoke but I guess it’s a personal decision for people if they want to smoke it or not. Smoking overall is not very healthy friendly but my goal is to educate you on the subject rather than just tell you to stop it.
So overall, I guess you see the value of an ashtray or as I like to call it, the ‘unsung’ hero of smoking. See people like to talk about different things or different type of Cuban cigar brands but I feel like we shouldn’t let the little things escape our mind such as the ‘ashtray’. Yes we take it for granted but an ashtray is just as essential as a lighter to your Cuban cigar.
An ashtray is your friend and your true friend especially if you are a smoker. As the ashes produced are very negative to your personal health and must be disposed of quickly.
Now it’s all up to you on what kind of ashtray is right for you. With so many designs and different manufacturer’s to choose from, it all depends on what your smoking habits and needs are. You can go for the very basic one that you can purchase from any convenience store or your can simply go to a special custom designer and give them any shapes or size that you prefer and have them make one out for you.
